OPTIONS: Illness: Self-explanatory. You're on your deathbed from a long and drawn-out illness. Time to call someone to your side for comfort, or for a confession... I Cannot Self Terminate: Maybe they're horribly injured, or maybe they've been mutated into a horrific monster. Either way, they can't tell anyone that they want to die--though no one doubts it. Will you be the one to take mercy on them? Execution: Once again, self-explanatory. You fought the law and the law won. This is probably the last time anyone will see you...or is the other character your executioner? Secretly Dying: Letting your friends and family know that you're terminally ill, or have been marked for death, or have a curse placed on you? No way. You'd rather keep them at ease. But all lies exist to be found out... [ Lung shot. It had been his stupid mistake of not taking into account that the one necromancer they had tracked down would have been carrying a crossbow. It was also just his fatally bad luck that the man had a dead eye for picking targets at a distance. There was little that could be done after the steely point of that cross bolt wormed its way between the space in his ribs, not even after the necromancer had been down for good.

When the dust settled and Sabriel came out of Death, Amon felt every ounce of his strength drain out of him through the hole in his side. He felt the cold chill of the water in his hands as it failed to counteract the injury as it, along with the rest of him, fell to ground in a heap. He had just managed to preserve enough of his dignity to push himself back up on his knees as the Abhorsen came into view. ]

It was like Christmas, the fourth of July, and every summer bonfire night rolled into one, except horrible and tragic instead of fun. Also, less colors. Somehow, is Pokemon made it out okay despite being down a trainer, although his Houndoom now has found solace in trolling Lucian's Pokemon endlessly.

[He's lost count over how many times in the past few months he's woken up without any clear idea of what the hell his intentions were. And as far as the battling went? He might have gone up a level or two, but his game's been slipping as of late.

He shrugs it off by joking about how lazy he's gotten, but whenever he does there's a bit of uncertainty to his words. There's a little bit of unsettling clutter about his room, too--unsettling because normally, he's an absolute fucking neat freak.

He can't hide forever and he hates it. He might have ditched the mask some years ago, but his preference for keeping some things hidden never really left him.

So for twenty minutes that morning he just stares at the ceiling of his bedroom.

It's been a century long battle that X has fought on his own and eventually sealed himself. As a cyber-elf X was free to drift about like a mindless apparition of sorts. It was from there he happened to meet Jiro by chance. He couldn't help but feel a kinship towards Jiro.

As a fellow, well... "machine" Jiro had to endure so much and bare so many scars within his heart. It caused X's own to bleed. He liked spending quiet moments with Jiro, as the world continued to march on and his friend slept it all away.

He made it a point to at least visit Jiro once a day, wanting to have some semblance of contact with another being. He also figured, Jiro didn't mind X imposing his own presence upon him.]

[The usual cycle had ended and restarted, as always, with waking up after a thousand years. A few days in, she'd met you. She's kept her distance somewhat - she learned the hard way why she ought to never become too attached.

However, that wasn't the only reason. These past few days haven't felt like the rest of the weeks she's been awake. She'd awoken oddly, too - rather than slowly morphing from the Millennium Comet, she had suddenly broken free from the stone. She realized fairly quickly that her time must be waning. Nothing lives forever, after all.

The signs that something is wrong have built up in the short time you've known her. It's readily apparent that she hasn't been sleeping. She wants to make the most of this last week. She's been getting worse by the day.

...That doesn't mean she'll let anyone know what's wrong.]
